The best airports to fly into are Portland International Jetport (PWM) and Logan International Airport (BOS).

Portland International Jetport

Portland has it's own airport with direct flights from several major cities. Airlines like American, Delta, Southwest, JetBlue, and United offer non-stop flights from CHI, NYC, DC, PHL, and ATL. The airport is located 3 miles from downtown Portland with Uber/Lyft and Taxi services available.

Boston Logan International Airport

Another option is to fly into Boston, which offers a wider range of flights and schedules. From Boston, Portland is about a 1 hour 45 minute drive or you can take a bus or train for convenient travel.

The AC Hotel offers an airport shuttle that operates daily from 7 AM to 11 PM, serving transportation to and from Portland International Jetport (PWM). They also provide complimentary pick-up and drop-off within a 1.5-mile radius of the hotel.

All major rental companies are represented at BOS and PWM.

If you are flying into Boston, we recommend renting a car to drive to Portland.

Other options include taking a Bus or Train.

If you are flying into Portland, a car rental is unnecessary unless you plan on exploring outside of the city. We recommend taking Uber/Lyft or Taxi services to your hotel.
